About Dr. Shieh

Dr. Sherry Shieh is a board certified dermatologist and Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University. Dr. Shieh is dedicated to providing state of the art, comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatologic care to a discerning clientele in Manhattan.

Dr. Shieh received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Virginia and earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed a medical internship at the Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland and subsequently a dermatology residency at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY, where she was named Chief Resident. Dr. Shieh pursued advanced fellowship training in cutaneous oncology and photodynamic therapy at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

Currently Dr. Shieh is teaching faculty at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Hospital. She trains dermatology residents in their medical, surgical and cosmetic clinics. Dr. Shieh has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and lectured at local, national and international meetings. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and The Dermatologic Society of Greater NewYork.
